We Need to Re-Elect Rep. Ray Reed

Missouri needs leaders who don’t just talk about change, but stand for it. Rep. Ray Reed has proven he can bring people together, stand up for working families, defend reproductive freedom, and protect our public schools. He’s taken on tough fights, challenged the status quo, and made sure our community has a real voice in Jefferson City. As a young legislator, Ray understands firsthand the challenges facing the next generation: rising costs, safe neighborhoods, quality schools, and economic opportunity. Re-electing Ray means keeping a proven, principled leader who shows up, works hard, and fights every day to make Missouri a place where every family can thrive.

From the Representative:

I am in this fight because my generation inherited a country at a crossroads. One where the promise of democracy is being tested not by our differences, but by whether we still believe in one another. I didn’t come to public service because it was easy or because the system was working; I came because too many people were being told, explicitly and implicitly, that their voices don’t matter, their families don’t belong, and their futures are negotiable.

I believe America is strongest when we reject the politics of fear and choose the harder work of solidarity across race, zip code, age, and party; because no one is free unless everyone has a fair shot. At a moment when power is being used to divide, exclude, and distract, my purpose is to prove that hope is not naïve, that decency is not weak, and that young people are not waiting their turn, we are stepping up to protect the democracy we deserve.

Progress has never come from looking backward or tearing people down, but from ordinary people deciding that cruelty is not leadership, that democracy is worth defending, and that the future belongs to ALL of us.
